Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Infrastructure Support Engineer – Network & Security to manage and support our end-to-end IT environment in a fast-paced FinTech setup. This is not a traditional helpdesk role we are seeking a hands-on engineer who can own infrastructure, support critical systems, and ensure a secure IT environment. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical support expertise with infrastructure and cybersecurity experience.

Key Responsibilities

IT Infrastructure & Network Management

  • Design, implement, and manage secure LAN/WAN architecture.
  • Configure and manage enterprise-grade firewalls (Fortinet / Cisco / Sophos).
  • Manage routers, switches, VLANs, and wireless infrastructure.
  • Establish and maintain secure network tunnels (IPsec, SSL VPN, Site-to-Site VPN).
  • Monitor network performance, uptime, and capacity planning.

Cybersecurity & Risk Management

  • Implement enterprise security controls aligned with FinTech best practices.
  • Manage endpoint security solutions (e.g., Bitdefender or equivalent).
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments, patch management, and risk mitigation.
  • Monitor SIEM logs and lead incident response activities.
  • Enforce Zero Trust security principles.

Microsoft 365 administration & Cloud Security

  • Lead Microsoft 365 administration(E5) implementation and security optimization.
  • Configure Azure AD, Conditional Access, MFA, and Identity Protection.
  • Manage Microsoft Defender, Intune, DLP, and data governance policies.
  • Secure Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams environments.
  • Oversee user lifecycle and privileged access management.

IT Operations & Governance

  • Develop IT policies, SOPs, and security frameworks.
  • Manage IT assets, backups, and disaster recovery strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards relevant to FinTech & Regulatory.
  • Maintain vendor coordination for hardware, software, and security tools.
  • Provide escalation-level (L2/L3) support when required.

Team Leadership & Strategy

  • Supervise IT support staff (if applicable).
  • Drive IT security awareness across the organization.
  • Plan infrastructure scalability and future technology roadmap.
  • Report IT risk and performance metrics to management.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 4–6 years of experience in IT Infrastructure & Security (preferably in FinTech / Banking / Payments domain).
  • Strong hands-on expertise in:

  • VPN & Secure Network Tunneling
  • Microsoft 365 E5 Security Stack
  • Azure Active Directory & Identity Management
  • Endpoint Protection (Bitdefender or similar)
  • Windows Server & Active Directory
  • Backup & Disaster Recovery Planning

Preferred Certifications

  • Microsoft Certified (Azure / M365 Security)
  • CCNA / CCNP
  • Fortinet NSE
  • CompTIA Security+
  • ISO 27001 Lead Implementer (Good to have)
