Job Description / Responsibility
Job Context
We are looking for a dynamic and motivated IT Executive to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates or candidates with up to 2 years of experience who are eager to build their career in IT support, networking, and ERP solutions. The role involves hands-on technical work, client support, and occasional field visits
Job Location
- Dhaka (with requirement to travel outside Dhaka when needed)
Job Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and maintain desktop computers, laptops, and printers.
- Provide technical support to clients via remote access, phone, and on-site visits.
- Install and configure operating systems, software applications, and peripherals.
- Support basic networking tasks including TCP/IP configuration, LAN setup, and router/switch configuration.
- Monitor and resolve network connectivity and performance issues.
- Perform routine IT maintenance and maintain proper documentation of tasks and service logs.
- Coordinate with senior IT team members to escalate and resolve complex technical issues.
- Ensure systems are secured with updated antivirus and basic security measures.
- Maintain inventory of hardware, software, and service records.
- Assist in ERP software support, including troubleshooting and user assistance.
- Provide basic training to clients on ERP system usage and resolve ERP-related issues.
- Be ready to work in a roster-based, on-call duty schedule when required.
- Willing to travel and provide support outside Dhaka city when necessary.
Educational Requirements
- Diploma
- Bachelor/Honors
- Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Candidates with relevant practical skills may be considered even without formal degree.
Experience Requirements
- 1 to 2 year(s)
Additional Requirements
- Basic understanding of Windows and Linux server environments.
- Knowledge of networking concepts (CCNA / MTCNA level preferred).
- Familiarity with DHCP, DNS, VPN, and firewall configuration.
- Basic experience or understanding of ERP solutions will be an advantage.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Good communication and client-handling ability.
- Willingness to learn and grow in the IT field.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Positive attitude and responsibility towards on-call support duties.
