We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Digital Governance Specialist to support the implementation of digital governance policies and strengthen compliance across the organization.
About the Role:
As a Digital Governance Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting the execution and monitoring of digital governance policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with national regulations related to digital transformation, cybersecurity, and data governance. You will contribute to improving digital maturity and promoting a strong governance culture across the company.
Key Responsibilities:
Digital Governance & Compliance:
- Support the implementation and monitoring of digital governance policies and procedures across departments
- Assist in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements related to digital transformation, cybersecurity, and data governance
- Participate in developing, updating, and documenting digital governance policies and frameworks
- Monitor the alignment of systems and digital platforms with approved technical standards and governance requirements
Documentation & Records Management:
- Maintain governance registers, digital records, policy documentation, and compliance indicators
- Prepare and organize supporting data for governance reports and audits
- Develop procedural guides, templates, and documentation related to digital governance and transformation
Digital Maturity & Risk Management:
- Participate in digital maturity assessments, collect and analyze data, and identify improvement opportunities
- Track corrective action plans and ensure timely closure of findings from audits and technical reviews
- Support digital risk management by documenting observations and monitoring remediation activities
Reporting & Coordination:
- Prepare periodic reports on governance performance, compliance status, and improvement initiatives
- Coordinate with regulatory bodies and audit teams regarding reporting requirements and governance matters
- Monitor adherence to approved governance channels and operating procedures across departments
Awareness & Transformation Support:
- Support internal awareness programs to promote digital governance and cybersecurity best practices
- Contribute to improving governance processes and increasing operational efficiency
- Ensure governance and compliance requirements are embedded in digital transformation projects from the implementation stage
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
- 2–4 years of relevant experience in IT governance, digital transformation, compliance, or cybersecurity support roles
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong understanding of IT governance frameworks and digital compliance requirements
- Ability to analyze governance metrics and technical data
- Experience in preparing technical and management reports
- Proficiency in working with enterprise systems and digital platforms
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
Preferred Certifications & Training:
- ITIL or COBIT certification in IT Governance
- ISO 27001 training in Information Security
- Digital Transformation fundamentals training from recognized institutions
- Courses in IT Risk Management and Digital Compliance
Language Requirements:
Fluency in Arabic and English
Performance Measurement:
Performance will be evaluated based on compliance with digital governance policies, timely closure of digital risk and compliance findings, accuracy of governance records, improvement in digital maturity assessments, and the quality and timeliness of governance reports.
