Our client, a respected leader in insurance services and operations, is seeking an IT Manager to oversee their IT environment and lead an experienced team. With a strong focus on operational resilience, regulatory compliance, and customer-centric systems, this organisation offers a clear path for growth, investment in training, and a collaborative culture where your ideas are valued.
We need someone who can start within 4 weeks
Your Role
- Oversee the company’s IT infrastructure, networks, and security across multiple business units
- Ensure alignment of IT systems with insurance regulatory and compliance standards (e.g. data protection, financial regulations)
- Lead, mentor, and support the internal IT and Service Desk teams
- Manage the IT operational budget and maintain strong vendor relationships
- Drive improvements in system performance, reliability, and service delivery
- Coordinate system documentation, audits, and regulatory reporting
- Collaborate with executive stakeholders to deliver strategic IT and digital transformation initiatives
Your Background
- Proven experience in IT Administration or IT Management, ideally within regulated industries (insurance, finance, fintech, etc.)
- Solid technical knowledge across infrastructure, networking, and IT operations
- Strong leadership capability with a hands-on mindset
- Experience in the insurance or financial services sector is an advantage, but not essential
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
