The role is designed around automation-first and AI-driven workflows, with a focus on reducing manual operations and enabling L1 support to handle routine tasks.
You will work as part of the IT team in direct report with department lead, playing a key role in shaping security processes across the school.
Key Responsibilities:

- Own and manage access systems (IAM): user access, roles, SSO/MFA, directories
- Design and maintain onboarding/offboarding and role-based access processes
- Ensure security of network and endpoints (VPN, DNS filtering, monitoring, device policies)
- Lead compliance and data protection efforts (GDPR, vendor data handling, policies)
- Develop and maintain incident response processes (playbooks, simulations, post-incident reviews)
- Build automation and runbooks to delegate routine tasks to L1 support
- Implement AI-driven workflows for audits, monitoring, and anomaly detection
- Maintain security tools and systems (1Password, monitoring tools, VPN, etc.)
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure secure and practical solutions
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in IT Security, IAM, DevSecOps, or similar roles
- Strong knowledge of identity and access management systems (e.g. 1Password, Okta, Azure AD, Google Workspace)
- Hands-on experience with network security (VPN, DNS filtering, firewalls)
- Experience with monitoring tools (Zabbix, Grafana, Prometheus, or similar)
- Understanding of GDPR and data protection practices
- Experience with automation and scripting (Python / JavaScript or similar)
- Solid understanding of Linux and Microsoft environments
- Familiarity with SSO, OAuth, SAML
- Fluent Russian and confident English communication skills (the school operates in a bilingual environment)
We are looking for someone who:
- takes full ownership of their domain and works independently
- prefers automation over manual processes
- is comfortable using AI tools to build workflows and improve efficiency
- can balance security with practical day-to-day operations
- communicates clearly with non-technical users
- is able to explain complex concepts in a simple and approachable way
What We Offer:
- A key role with real ownership and impact
- The opportunity to build and shape security processes from the ground up
- A modern, forward-thinking IT environment focused on automation and AI
- A collaborative and international team
- A dynamic school environment where your work is visible and meaningful
