IT Security Manager
IT Security Manager opportunity for a security leader with a strong Sec Ops/Incident Response background and broad cyber security management experience to lead across Sec Ops, Engineering, Architecture and MSSP, driving security operations and strategic initiatives across on-premises and cloud environments.
- Day Rate: £800 – £850pd
- IR35 Status:
Inside - Travel: 3 days a week in Central London (2 days WFH)
- Duration:
Initial 6 months
Responsibilities:
- Lead an established cyber security function across both on-premises and cloud environments, ensuring the effective delivery of security operations and strategic security initiatives.
- Leverage your strong SOC and Incident Response background to oversee threat detection, incident management, vulnerability management, and the continuous enhancement of security capabilities.
- Manage and develop a team of circa 11 security professionals across Security Operations, Security Engineering, Security Architecture, and MSSP relationships, fostering a high performance security culture.
- Work closely with senior stakeholders to prioritise security activities, manage risk, and ensure security objectives are aligned with wider business goals.
- Provide broad oversight across technical security disciplines, with exposure to governance, risk, and compliance, while driving operational excellence and continuous improvement across the security function.
