We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Systems Administrator to join our IT team. This role provides hands-on support for the organization's IT infrastructure and systems across both on-premises and cloud environments. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality technical support for end-users while ensuring secure, reliable, and efficient operations in alignment with ITIL and ITSM standards.
Key Accountabilities:
- End-User & IT Support: Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network issues. Manage incidents and service requests through the IT Helpdesk system in accordance with SLA requirements.
- Systems & Infrastructure Support: Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of operating systems and applications. Perform routine patching, updates, and upgrades. Support infrastructure components including Windows servers, virtualization, storage systems, and network devices (switches, firewalls, access points).
- Cloud & Platform Support: Support Microsoft Azure, AWS, and M365 environments, assisting in the management of our hybrid IT environment.
- Security & Compliance: Support the implementation of information security policies. Assist with endpoint security, vulnerability remediation, and the maintenance of physical security controls (CCTV, server room access, UPS).
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience: 2–5 years of related IT experience, with exposure to security-related tasks and ITSM processes.
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of Windows systems, networking concepts, and enterprise remote access/monitoring tools. Working knowledge of cloud service models and identity management.
- Core Competencies: Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal (on-call) and email communication skills with a strong customer service orientation
