We are seeking a skilled and certified Network Security Engineer to join our IT infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with enterprise-grade firewalls and routing/switching technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure, deploy, and manage firewalls (Palo Alto, FortiGate, Cisco ASA) in enterprise environments.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal uptime and reliability.
- Implement security policies and firewall rules based on best practices.
- Manage VPN configurations, site-to-site and remote access setups.
- Perform routine maintenance, upgrades, and patch management on network devices.
- Analyze and respond to network security threats and vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on network-related requirements and changes.
- Provide support for incident response and root cause analysis of network issues.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation of network topology and configurations.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory standards.
- Participate in disaster recovery planning and network redundancy strategies.
- Stay updated with latest industry trends and security practices.
Required Qualifications:
- Strong experience with Palo Alto, FortiGate, and Cisco ASA firewalls
- Good understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, etc.)
- Certifications: CCNA (required), CCSP (preferred)
- Solid knowledge of network security principles and firewall rule design
