About the Role:
The Manager – Geographic Information Systems (GIS) is responsible for leading the development, implementation, and governance of GIS strategies and geospatial data across projects. The role ensures effective integration of GIS with BIM and other digital platforms to enhance spatial analysis, planning, and decision-making, particularly for large-scale infrastructure programs such as KSIA
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the integration of GIS and BIM to model spatial relationships and optimize design, construction, and operational strategies across project phases.
- Develop and implement GIS frameworks, standards, and guidelines to ensure consistent and effective utilization of geospatial technologies across all KSIA projects.
- Oversee the management and maintenance of geospatial data, including spatial databases, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and alignment with project requirements.
- Conduct advanced spatial analysis to support infrastructure planning, land use optimization, asset positioning, and strategic decision-making.
- Develop geospatial visualizations, maps, and interactive dashboards to provide insights and support stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Establish and enforce data governance practices, ensuring data quality, standardization, security, and compliance with organizational policies.
- Collaborate with design, engineering, and delivery teams to ensure seamless integration of GIS outputs into project workflows and digital ecosystems.
- Drive continuous improvement in GIS capabilities by adopting emerging technologies, tools, and best practices.
- Lead and mentor GIS teams, while facilitating training and knowledge-sharing initiatives to enhance organizational capability.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Geographic Information Systems, Geomatics, Geography, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in GIS management, geospatial analysis, or digital engineering roles.
- Proven experience working on large-scale infrastructure or master planning projects.
- Strong experience in GIS platforms, spatial databases, and BIM-GIS integration
