Job Description

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Execute audits of the bank, in order to provide an objective and independent assurance on the adequacy and effectiveness of the internal controls, risk management and governance of the Bank.
Assist in the formulating of the annual risk-based audit plans.
Prepare pre-audit administration work prior to the commencement of the audit.
Ensure the efficient performance of audit fieldwork to achieve audit objective, coverage of scope and timely completion.
Review the adequacy of IT functions, processes, infrastructures and application system.
Conduct audit commencement and exit meetings which highlight relevant audit findings, risk implications, root causes and appropriate recommendations.
Finalize audits and submit audit reports in a timely manner.
Communicate the audit result and assessment to the Internal Audit Committee (“IAC”) and the Audit Committee of the Board (“ACB”)
Participate in projects/new initiatives by the Bank and any other ad-hoc assignments.

Job Skills

Job Requirements

Possess a relevant tertiary education such as. Degree in IT/MIS or equivalent will be an added advantage
At least five (5) years of working experience in IT Audit or IT Risk Management, preferably in Financial Institution industry
Advanced knowledge in IT related disciplines such as Networking, Programming, Cyber Security & IT Security & Control will be an added advantage
Experienced in COBIT or any other audit framework is an added advantage
Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with various level of people and possess the ability to articulate clearly in report writing and presentation skills
Self-motivated and able to work independently, multi tasks, good analytical skill, can lead/work in a team and deliver results under tight deadline.
Willing to travel whenever required.
