Manager of Enterprise Infrastructure and Security – Banking Jobs in United States at JCW Group
Title: Manager of Enterprise Infrastructure and Security – Banking
Company: JCW Group
Location: United States
We are currently recruiting for a key client, a regional bank, for a Manager of Enterprise Infrastructure & Security.
Overview
Reporting into executive leadership and partnering closely with the Chief Information Security Officer, the Manager of Enterprise Infrastructure & Security will serve as the bank's senior technical authority across all infrastructure and security domains. The successful candidate will be accountable for the architecture, engineering, and day-to-day operational integrity of the bank's core technology platforms — ensuring they are secure, resilient, highly available, and consistently aligned with regulatory obligations.
This is not a figurehead role. The bank requires someone who combines strategic thinking with genuine technical depth, and who is comfortable operating at both the executive level and close to the technology itself.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, engineering, and lifecycle management of enterprise infrastructure platforms spanning network, server, cloud, identity, and endpoint environments
- Serve as the Tier 3 technical escalation point for complex infrastructure issues, setting engineering standards and configuration baselines across the organisation
- Oversee the implementation, operation, and continuous optimisation of security technologies in support of the bank's Information Security Program
- Own enterprise identity and access management, including SSO, MFA, privileged access management, and least privilege enforcement
- Manage centralised logging, monitoring, alerting, and operational visibility capabilities, ensuring infrastructure telemetry meets regulatory, audit, and operational requirements
- Lead disaster recovery architecture, resilience design, and backup strategy, ensuring RTO and RPO commitments are aligned with business and regulatory expectations
- Participate in and continuously improve DR testing and business continuity exercises
- Support internal audits, OCC and FFIEC regulatory examinations, and third-party assessments — maintaining comprehensive documentation and audit evidence throughout
- Partner with Risk, Compliance, and the CISO to remediate findings and ensure infrastructure controls remain aligned with approved policy and the bank's risk appetite
- Drive vulnerability remediation programmes in coordination with security, IT operations, and business stakeholders
Candidate Profile
Essential:
- Minimum 6 years of progressive experience in enterprise infrastructure engineering and operations
- Demonstrated background within banking or financial services — prior experience in a regulated institution is essential
- Strong working knowledge of OCC, FFIEC, GLBA, and related regulatory frameworks
- Hands-on experience implementing and operating cybersecurity technologies across enterprise environments
- Proven expertise across identity and access management, disaster recovery architecture, and infrastructure resilience
- Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline
- Ability to engage credibly with regulators, auditors, executive stakeholders, and technical teams
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical matters into clear business language
