Key Responsibilities
- Security Operations & Asset Protection:
- Lead end-to-end physical security across Voltas offices and plants including access control, guard force management, and protection of critical assets.
- CCTV & Security Automation:
- Manage CCTV, VMS, access control and integrated security systems; drive automation, surveillance analytics, and real-time incident response.
- Employee Safety & Workplace Security:
- Ensure a safe, zero-incident environment through audits, emergency preparedness, drills, and contractor/visitor management.
- Risk Management & Threat Assessment:
- Conduct risk and vulnerability assessments; implement preventive controls to mitigate theft, disruption, and security breaches.
- Geopolitical Intelligence & Advisory:
- Track geopolitical, regional, and social risks; provide timely advisories to management on impact to operations, supply chain, travel, and workforce safety.
- Crisis Management & Business Continuity:
- Lead incident response, emergency handling, and support business continuity and disaster recovery planning.
- Liaisoning & Compliance:
- Maintain strong coordination with law enforcement, authorities, and regulatory bodies; ensure statutory and corporate compliance.
- Vendor & Incident Management:
- Manage security agencies, monitor SLA/KPIs, conduct audits and investigations with structured reporting and closure.
- Executive Protection & Travel Security:
- Secure leadership movement when required, travel risk assessment, and security planning for visits/events.
- Reporting & Governance:
- Provide clear MIS, dashboards, and incident reports; drive continuous security improvements.
