What The Role Is
As a Manager/ Senior Manager, Security and Readiness in the Safety, Security and Emergency Branch under the Infrastructure and Facility Services Division, you will be part of a team that prepares MOE HQ and schools (including mainstream schools and special education (SPED) schools) to manage crises and respond to emergencies.
What You Will Be Working On
- Develop and implement Security & Emergency Preparedness (EP) plans, programmes and training resources for MOE HQ and schools
- Plan, design and conduct EP exercises and workshops for MOE HQ and schools to enhance readiness
- Guide and advise MOE HQ divisions and schools on the development and formulation of their respective standard operating procedures, emergency and contingency plans to handle an emergency or crisis
- Support whole-of-government emergency operations and exercises, including the maintenance of communications systems
- Support administrative tasks which may span across different work committees (e.g. staff well-being, innovation etc)
What We Are Looking For
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience in emergency preparedness/ security/ crisis management
- Experience in conducting face-to-face/ online training and using AI and other tech tools to develop learning resources would be an advantage
- Ability to supervise and assess project implementation and programme delivery
- Highly motivated individual with good communication, writing, presentation, time management and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently, collaboratively and under tight deadlines
