Job Summary
As Mobile Device Security Specialist, you will be responsible of defining, implementing, and operating the security controls protecting managed mobile devices across corporate and industrial environments as well as unmanaged ones.
The role ensures that mobile devices are securely configured, monitored, compliant, and resilient against cyber threats while supporting business usage in offices, plants, and remote scenarios.
This position acts as the security authority for mobile devices, working closely with MDM teams, SOC, and security architecture.
Key Responsibilities
Mobile Security Governance & Standards
- Define and maintain mobile device security baselines aligned with cybersecurity standards and policies
- Ensure compliance with the Corporate Information Protection Policy for mobile devices
- Contribute to mobile device homologation and exception processes in collaboration with risk and compliance teams.
- BYOD / CYOD Security Governance by defining and ensuring the application of corporate security baselines prior to accessing enterprise services
MDM / MAM Security Configuration
- Define and enforce security controls via approved MDM solutions
- Implement and maintain:
- Device enrolment models (COPE, COBO, MAM where applicable)
- OS hardening and configuration baselines
- Encryption, authentication, and access restrictions
- Application of Zero-Trust principle
Mobile Threat Detection & Endpoint Protection
- Contribute to the evaluation, deployment, and operation of mobile threat detection / mobile EDR capabilities
- Ensure telemetry and security events from mobile devices are available to SOC and SIEM where applicable
Incident Response & SOC Integration
- Act as the mobile security subject matter expert during security incidents involving mobile devices
- Support investigation, containment, and remediation actions on mobile endpoints
- Define playbooks and escalation paths for mobile related security incidents
Lifecycle, Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure secure handling of the mobile device lifecycle:
- Enrolment
- Configuration changes
- Decommissioning and data removal
- Support audits, risk assessments, and compliance reviews related to mobile devices
- Define and track security KPIs (coverage, compliance, detections, incidents)
Required Skills & Experience
Technical
- Strong experience in mobile device security (Android and iOS)
- Handson knowledge of MDM/MAM platforms (Microsoft Intune or equivalent)
- Understanding of:
- Mobile OS security models
- Secure networking and segmentation
- Endpoint security and monitoring principles
- Experience with mobile threat defense / mobile EDR solutions
- Exposure to industrial or manufacturing mobile use cases
- Security certifications (CISSP, CCSP, or equivalent)
- Experience working with SOC and SIEM integrations
Security & Compliance
- Solid understanding of enterprise cybersecurity controls and standards
- Experience working with industrial or largescale enterprise environments
- Familiarity with audit, risk-based approach, and exception processes
Soft Skills
- Ability to translate security requirements into pragmatic, enforceable controls
- Strong collaboration skills across IT, security, and business teams and stakeholders’ management
- Clear communication with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders
- Fluent written & spoken English
