Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Network Engineer to manage and optimize our enterprise network infrastructure across multiple manufacturing sites and cities. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Cisco networking technologies, Fortinet firewalls, and a solid understanding of network protocols, security, and documentation practices. This role is critical to ensuring high availability, performance, and security of our LAN and WAN environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure across 3–5 buildings and 3 cities.
- Manage and configure Cisco switches and routers, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Monitor and troubleshoot network issues using tools and protocols such as CDP and Spanning Tree Protocol (STP).
- Configure and manage Inter-VLAN routing, Access Control Lists (ACLs), and IP addressing schemes.
- Ensure network security through firewalls, segmentation, and best practices.
- Administer and maintain Fortinet firewalls (must-have) and Sophos firewalls (preferred).
- Implement and manage IPSec VPN connections across sites.
- Maintain detailed network documentation, including topology diagrams, IP address management, and configuration records.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support manufacturing operations and ensure network uptime.
- Perform regular network audits and implement improvements based on findings.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to pharmaceutical manufacturing environments.
- Mentor junior network engineers and provide guidance on troubleshooting and best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in enterprise network engineering.
- Cisco Certified (CCNA/CCNP) or equivalent experience.
- Strong knowledge of Spanning Tree Protocol (STP), Cisco Discovery Protocol (CDP), Inter-VLAN routing, ACLs, IP addressing and subnetting, and network security principles.
- Fortinet firewall administration expertise.
- Experience with network monitoring and management tools.
- Excellent documentation and communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to mentor junior engineers and foster a collaborative team environment.
- Must have experience implementing and managing IPSec VPNs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in pharmaceutical or manufacturing environments.
- Familiarity with GxP compliance and validated systems.
- Knowledge of Sophos firewall technologies.
- Preferred certifications in Fortinet and Sophos (sufficient for firewall administration).
- Understanding of industrial networking protocols (e.g., Modbus, OPC).
- Experience using Microsoft 365, especially advanced features in SharePoint and Teams.
- Strong emphasis on teamwork and effective team communication.
Work Schedule & Benefits

- Working Hours: 08:30 to 16:30, Sunday to Thursday
- Work Days: 5 days per week
- Annual Leave: 30 days after 1 year of service, as per Ministry of Labor regulations
