Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Network and Security Architect to lead the design and implementation of secure, scalable, and high-performance network infrastructures. This role combines deep technical expertise with presales responsibilities, including solution design, client engagement, and RFP/RFI ownership.
The ideal candidate will act as a Trusted Advisor to clients, translating business requirements into robust network and cybersecurity architectures while supporting business growth through technical leadership and solution positioning.
Key Responsibilities
1. Architecture & Solution Design
- Design and validate scalable network architectures across LAN, WLAN, WAN, SD-WAN, VPN, and cloud environments
- Develop end-to-end network and security architecture blueprints
- Select appropriate technologies, protocols, and solutions based on performance, scalability, and security requirements
2. Security Architecture
- Design secure infrastructures including:
- Firewalls
- IDS/IPS
- VPN solutions
- Endpoint security
- Data Loss Prevention (DLP)
- Identity & Access Management (IAM/IDAM)
- Integrate security best practices into overall system and network designs
3. Presales & Client Engagement
- Lead RFP/RFI responses, technical proposals, and solution strategies
- Deliver client presentations, demos, and technical pitches
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) during client discussions
- Support sales teams in achieving business targets and solution closures
4. Strategic Advisory & Stakeholder Collaboration
- Engage with clients to understand business and technical requirements
- Provide proactive recommendations to optimize IT and security environments
- Collaborate with internal teams (IT, engineering, development) for solution alignment
5. Technology Evaluation & Innovation
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend enhancements
- Ensure solutions are aligned with industry standards and best practices
6. Leadership & Mentorship
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering and delivery teams
- Conduct training sessions on security awareness and best practices
7. Bid Management & Knowledge Management
- Lead tender submissions and develop winning technical strategies
- Manage reusable assets such as:
- Case studies
- Solution templates
- Sales presentations
- Coordinate and manage client visits and technical workshops
Required Skills & Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or related field
Experience
- 10+ years of experience in network presales / solution architecture
- Proven experience designing enterprise-scale network and security solutions
Technical Skills
- Strong expertise in:
- Wired & Wireless LAN
- SDN technologies (Cisco SDA, ACI)
- SD-WAN and cloud networking
- Deep knowledge of:
- Routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, Static)
- Ethernet technologies
- Hands-on experience with:
- Firewalls, Load Balancers
- IDS/IPS, SIEM
- NAC, DLP
- Proxy and endpoint security tools
Certifications
- CCIE (Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert) or
- CCDE (Cisco Certified Design Expert)
Soft Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills
