Position Summary
Texas Bay Credit Union is seeking a Network & Security Director to lead the design, implementation, and security of our IT infrastructure. This role provides technical leadership, oversees critical systems and projects, and ensures a secure, reliable technology environment that supports organizational growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage enterprise IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and cloud systems
- Oversee cybersecurity strategy, policies, and incident response
- Ensure system reliability, scalability, and business continuity (backup/disaster recovery)
- Manage infrastructure projects, including upgrades, migrations, and new implementations
- Support and mentor IT staff while delivering excellent end-user service
- Collaborate with leadership, vendors, and stakeholders on technology strategy and solutions
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and security frameworks (e.g., NIST)
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
- 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure or network/security roles
- 3+ years of leadership experience preferred
- Experience with Microsoft environments, networking, firewalls, and virtualization technologies
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
