The job:
You'll keep our infrastructure performant, secure, and built right. That means carrying the full process — designing and architecting our network hardware environment in a growth phase, configuring and maintaining routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points, and making sure the underlying infrastructure can actually support where we're headed. You'll define segmentation strategy, manage hybrid connectivity between on-prem and cloud, and ensure our network architecture can scale with a company that's growing fast and running non-trivial AI workloads.
You should be comfortable going from architecture decisions to hands-on implementation without needing to handoff. And when something breaks at 11pm, you're the person who fixes it.
You're a fit if you can:
- Design, implement, and maintain our network architecture including firewalls, IDS/IPS, switches, routers, and wireless
- Lead security initiatives for interconnected on-prem environments with web facing customer access — threat modeling, vulnerability remediation, penetration test follow-through
- Handle identity and access management controls including MFA and conditional access
- Monitor cloud and datacenter traffic and respond to incidents
- Translate security risks into plain business language for non-technical stakeholders
- Support the network infrastructure underpinning our GPU-accelerated AI platforms
