Role Description
This is a full-time, hybrid role for a Network Security Specialist located in The Randstad, Netherlands, with the flexibility to work from home part of the time. The Network Security Specialist will be responsible for implementing, managing, and monitoring network security measures to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of digital assets. Key responsibilities include administering secure network systems, identifying vulnerabilities, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring compliance with information security protocols. The role will also involve staying updated with the latest cybersecurity trends and best practices to proactively address potential threats.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Network Administration and managing secure network environments
- Proven expertise in Network Security and Cybersecurity practices, including threat assessment and mitigation
- Strong knowledge of Information Security and regulatory compliance standards
- Effective Troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving network issues
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience in the field
- Ability to adapt to hybrid working environments and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Certifications in Linux, Firewalls and clou are a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
