Daffodil International College (DIC), Dhaka is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Officer (Counselor Cum Admin) to join its administrative team.

Job Description / Responsibility

Counselor’s Core Responsibilities

  • Provide counseling and guidance to students and guardians regarding admission procedures, academic matters, and institutional services.
  • Monitor and update information from education-related authorities (Education Board, BANBEIS, etc.) and communicate relevant notices to management.
  • Manage and update DIC’s social media platforms, website, and digital presence, including content creation, engagement, and performance reporting.
  • Maintain strong relationships with students, parents, alumni, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and support.
  • Monitor student attendance through EIMS/Odoo ERP, identify irregular students, and coordinate with guide teachers and guardians for necessary follow-up.
  • Conduct regular campus monitoring rounds and assist in maintaining student discipline, welfare, and a positive learning environment.
  • Maintain records of students requiring special attention due to academic, psychological, medical, financial, or family-related concerns and coordinate support initiatives.
  • Update and maintain student databases, personal files, registration records, board examination documents, form fill-up records, and transfer certificate (TC) documentation.
  • Assist in admission, registration, enrollment, and related academic administrative activities for both first-year and second-year students.
  • Support the Accounts Department during admission periods and receive tuition fees and other payments in the absence of the Accounts Officer.
  • Provide technical and administrative support to faculty members, staff, and students, and assist in the implementation and operation of the DIC ERP (Odoo Smart openEdu System).
  • Prepare, maintain, and distribute academic documents, including transcripts, testimonials, certificates, class routines, syllabi, and official correspondence.
  • Support institutional promotional activities, including brochure and flyer development, marketing campaigns, student recruitment initiatives, and social media promotion.
  • Assist in organizing and coordinating college events, extracurricular activities, national day celebrations, club activities, and other institutional programs.
  • Perform inventory management of student notebooks and other assigned materials, assist in recruitment activities, prepare monthly reports/presentations, and carry out any additional responsibilities assigned by the Management.

Admin’s Core Responsibilities

  • Act as liaison with the Education Board as well as Ministry of Education and perform related official tasks as assigned.
  • Ensure smooth operation of campus facilities, administration, security, cleanliness, and support services.
  • Coordinate institutional development projects, policy implementation, and administrative improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor staff attendance, supervise assigned duties, and maintain discipline across the campus.
  • Oversee store, inventory, office supplies, procurement activities, and vendor coordination.
  • Support college events, provide administrative backup support, and perform other duties assigned by management.
  • Load, guide, motivate, all the admin staffs like Office Attendant, Cleaners, Security Guards etc.

Educational Requirements

  • Masters
  • Bachelor/Honors
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing
  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Marketing
  • Minimum CGPA 3.00
  • Skills Required: Report Writing, Content writing, Social Media Management, Public Relations, Student Counseling, Student Admission, Guidance, Event Coordination, Parent Communication, CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • 1 to 2 year(s)
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):University,College,School

Additional Requirements

  • Strong communication skills in both Bangla and English.
  • Ability to counsel and communicate effectively with students, parents, and guardians.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
  • Sound knowledge of admission procedures, student affairs, and academic administration.Strong organizational, documentation, and record-keeping skills.
  • Experience in social media management, content writing, and digital communication will be preferred.
  • Prior experience in an educational institution will be considered an added advantage.
