Position: Operational Auditor

Role Purpose:
As an Operational Auditor at ABYAT, you will assess and enhance the effectiveness, efficiency, and compliance of operational processes across retail showrooms, warehouses, logistics, delivery, installation, and fleet operations. You will be responsible for evaluating adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements, identifying operational risks, and recommending practical improvements to strengthen controls and optimize performance. The role also focuses on driving cost efficiency, improving customer experience, and supporting management through insightful audit findings, actionable recommendations, and timely follow-up on corrective actions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct operational audits across showrooms, warehouses, logistics, delivery, installation, and support functions to evaluate process efficiency, compliance, and internal controls.
- Assess adherence to company policies, regulatory requirements, operational standards, and security, safety, hygiene, and visual merchandising guidelines.
- Audit showroom and warehouse operations, including product displays, stock storage, inventory handling, equipment readiness, and facility maintenance standards.
- Evaluate delivery, installation, and fleet operations through site visits and operational reviews to ensure service quality, operational readiness, and customer satisfaction.
- Identify operational risks, control gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization across all business areas.
- Prepare detailed audit reports, present findings and recommendations to management, and follow up on the implementation of corrective actions.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in operational audit, internal audit, retail operations, logistics, or a related field.
- Good understanding of retail operations, warehousing, logistics, and supply chain processes.
- Knowledge of internal controls, risk management principles, and audit methodologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills with high attention to detail.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and report-writing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments, meet deadlines, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Proficiency in English; Arabic language skills are considered an advantage.
- Willingness to travel frequently across showrooms, warehouses, and operational sites within the Kingdom.
