An exciting opportunity to join our client's team at a leading all-inclusive device rental service that manages the entire device lifecycle, from acquisition to recycling, while ensuring comprehensive maintenance, insurance, data security, and disposal. This service allows businesses to focus on their core operations and promotes a circular economy model that enhances efficiency and reduces e-waste. We are looking for a Operations Specialist — Receivables & Device Lifecycle to join this organization.
Responsibilities
- Liaise with multiple counterparties to keep paperwork on track
- Improve and formalise collections approach for customers past device-lock stage
- Run daily payment reconciliation in Odoo (our ERP) and manage bad-debt loop end-to-end
- Chase late payers across various communication channels
- Coordinate device returns, inspections, and recoveries
- Drive buyback and refinancing processes, including residual value calculations
- Manage Refurbed marketplace invoicing across the EU
- Work across multiple platforms and tools to ensure operational efficiency
Requirements
- 3–5 years in B2B operations with hands-on experience in receivables, billing, or collections
- Practical understanding of EU intra-community VAT processes
- Strong tech fluency and ability to work with complex systems like Airtable and Odoo
- Romanian and English language proficiency, both written and spoken
- Comfortable and persistent in chasing payments and solving customer problems
- Track record of bringing structure to messy processes
- Self-managed and calendar-driven with ability to handle multiple recurring rhythms
- Curious about using AI tools like Claude Cowork to improve efficiency
- Thick-skinned and patient when dealing with frustrated customers
- Ability to spot and explain data discrepancies across systems
