Physical Security Professional / Consultan
tWe are seeking a Physical Security Professional to conduct a high-level assessment of our client's current physical security program and provide practical recommendations to strengthen their overall security posture. This resource must be PSP certified and should bring experience evaluating physical security programs, policies, procedures, campus/facility security, executive protection, and third-party security coverage against industry norms and best practices
.
The consultant will review existing physical security program documentation, policies, procedures, and related materials, while also conducting interviews with key stakeholders to understand current-state practices. The goal is to compare current program structure and operating procedures against industry standards, identify meaningful gaps, and provide clear, prioritized recommendations for improvemen
t.
The scope will also include a review of one to two campus sites to assess public and employee security considerations. This review should focus on identifying significant physical security gaps, potential areas of exposure, and practical improvements related to site security posture, access, visibility, procedures, and response readine
ss.
In addition, the consultant will provide guidance around executive protection. Since this is an area currently viewed as underdeveloped, the expectation is not simply to assess the current state, but to develop a prioritized action plan for building a more mature executive protection capability aligned with industry no
rms.
The consultant will also perform a high-level review of critical third-party physical security coverage. This may include reviewing relevant contract terms, service level agreements, vendor responsibilities, and potential gaps or “gotchas” that could create risk or ambiguity in ownership, accountability, or service expectat
ions.
