Jamuna Spacetech Joint Venture Limited is a renowned LPG bottling and manufacturing company in Bangladesh, committed to safety, quality, and operational excellence. We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Plant In-Charge to oversee plant operations, maintenance, and engineering activities while ensuring financial discipline and cost optimization.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead and manage plant operations with a strong focus on team building, decision-making, and people management.
- Oversee the proper operation and maintenance of LPG pumps, compressors, blowers, diesel engines, mounded storage vessels, fire-fighting systems, and other critical equipment.
- Ensure smooth execution of front-end engineering design (FEED) work for plant operations.
- Maintain high standards of safety, quality, maintenance, and security in all plant activities.
- Optimize plant operational costs while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
- Implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and enhance efficiency.
- Drive financial discipline in plant operations and monitor budget adherence.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering
- Skills Required: Fire safety Management, Monitoring and Supervision, Plant Operation, Hazard assesment
Experience Requirements
- At least 10 year(s)
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Manufacturing (Light Engineering and Heavy Industry),LPG Gas/Cylinder Gas
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience in plant operations, maintenance, or engineering management (preferably in the LPG, energy, or manufacturing industry).
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and team management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of industrial machinery, safety protocols, and engineering design.
- Expertise in optimizing costs while maintaining operational efficiency.
- Excellent analytical and decision-making abilities.
