We have an urgent requirement for Quality Management and ISO Compliance Officer exposure in (IT services , System integration ,ICT ) domain is required for one of our client in Abu Dhabi, UAE

Certified Lead Auditor in ISO 9001 is MUST

Strong hands-on exposure to ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 20000-1, ISO/IEC 27001, document control, internal audits, process compliance, and management review preparation.--Must

Maintain the organization’s Integrated Management System, including policies, procedures, manuals, process maps, forms, templates, registers, and records.–Must

Requires ISO compliance support across IT, operations, PMO, service delivery, information security, and service management processes.–Must

Candidate should have exposure in IT services, system integration, ICT, managed services, data center, telecom, cybersecurity, cloud services, software services, or technology consulting–Must

Role Purpose

The Quality Management and ISO Compliance Officer will be responsible for developing, maintaining, reviewing, and improving the organization’s policies, procedures, forms, records, and internal control framework. The role will ensure that departments are following approved procedures through routine internal checks, visual inspections, process reviews, internal audits, and corrective action follow-up.

The candidate must have strong experience in ISO management systems, internal audits, document control, process improvement, and compliance monitoring. Lead Auditor certification is required or strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain the organization’s Integrated Management System, including policies, procedures, manuals, process maps, forms, templates, registers, and records.
  • Develop, review, update, and control organizational policies and procedures in coordination with department owners.
  • Ensure document control practices are properly followed, including version control, approvals, issue dates, review dates, and controlled access.
  • Conduct routine internal checks to verify whether teams are following approved procedures.
  • Perform visual checks, process walkthroughs, sampling, record reviews, and compliance spot checks.
  • Plan and conduct internal audits across departments based on approved audit schedules.
  • Identify nonconformities, observations, risks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Track corrective actions and preventive actions until proper closure.
  • Support external certification audits and surveillance audits.
  • Coordinate with process owners to prepare audit evidence and close audit findings.
  • Monitor compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO/IEC 20000-1, and ISO/IEC 27001 requirements.
  • Support management review meetings by preparing audit results, process performance data, nonconformity trends, risk updates, and improvement actions.
  • Maintain risk registers, opportunity logs, issue logs, audit reports, compliance trackers, and action plans.
  • Train employees on policies, procedures, quality requirements, document control, and audit readiness.
  • Recommend improvements to simplify processes and strengthen compliance.
  • Coordinate with HSE, IT, HR, Operations, PMO, and other departments to align procedures with business needs.
  • Ensure that quality records are available, accurate, traceable, and retained as per company requirements.
  • Support continual improvement initiatives across the organization.

ISO Standards Knowledge Required

The candidate should have working knowledge of the following:

  • ISO 9001:2015, Quality Management System.
  • ISO 14001:2015, Environmental Management System, or latest applicable version.
  • ISO 45001:2018, Occupational Health and Safety Management System.
  • ISO/IEC 20000-1:2018, Service Management System.
  • ISO/IEC 27001:2022, Information Security Management System.

ISO states that ISO 9001 is a quality management standard, ISO 45001 covers occupational health and safety management systems, ISO/IEC 20000-1 specifies service management system requirements, and ISO/IEC 27001 defines information security management requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Business Administration, Information Technology, Environmental Management, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
  • Certified Lead Auditor in ISO 9001 is required.
  • Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor certification in ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO/IEC 20000-1, or ISO/IEC 27001 is strongly preferred.
  • Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in quality management, ISO compliance, internal audits, or integrated management systems.
  • Experience in policy and procedure development is required.
  • UAE experience is preferred.

  • Ability to conduct visual inspections and practical process verification.

  • Good understanding of corrective action, root cause analysis, and continual improvement.
  • Ability to work with multiple departments and challenge non-compliance professionally.
  • Strong reporting, communication, and presentation skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Good command of MS Office, SharePoint, document management systems, and audit trackers.
