Position: Retail Security Officer.
Job Overview
Mitie is looking for a Retail security officer who can deliver exceptional customer service whilst creating a safe shopping environment, free from the fear of crime for customers and colleagues.
Qualifications
- Current SIA licence or SIA Certificates (training for a licence may be provided in some circumstances)
- Full 5‑year checkable employment/education history; failure to provide may result in offer withdrawal or termination of employment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver industry‑leading customer service
- Deterrence of violence and public order offences
- Conduct patrols of the store
- Utilise CCTV systems to support the reduction of crime and stock loss
- Liaise with the store management teams
- Liaise with Police and crime partnerships where required to foster partnership and support reduction of crime in store
- Wear Body‑Worn CCTV to support reduction of crime and increase colleague and customer safety
