Why this role matters
As the Safety & Security Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the safe, secure, and efficient operation of our project site. You will coordinate safety inductions, administer access control systems, maintain critical records, and ensure the smooth day-to-day administration of the site office. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining administration, safety, and security responsibilities while contributing to operational excellence and regulatory compliance in a fast-paced renewable energy environment.
What you’ll be doing
In this role, you will:
- Coordinate and conduct safety inductions for employees, contractors, visitors, and service providers while maintaining accurate induction records.
- Administer the site's access control system by creating, issuing, replacing, and managing access cards and related records.
- Ensure all safety induction and access control documentation is accurate, complete, and maintained in line with company requirements.
- Manage the day-to-day administration of the site office, including office security, housekeeping, and administrative support.
- Monitor office supplies, utilities, and facilities to ensure uninterrupted site operations.
- Record, report, and maintain records relating to safety incidents, near misses, and security events.
- Support compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and audit processes by maintaining accurate documentation.
- Provide professional administrative support and act as the first point of contact for office-related enquiries.

What you’ll bring
- Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent qualification.
- Qualification in Office Administration, Business Administration, Safety Administration, Security Management, or a related field will be advantageous.
- Knowledge of safety induction processes, access control administration, and office administration.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and strong administrative and record management skills.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills with a high level of attention to detail.
