Position Overview

Location: Hanoi, Vietnam (Hybrid)

We are seeking a highly vigilant SecOps & Incident Response Specialist to serve as the critical first line of defense for our global platform. In our agile, three-tiered security squad, you are the "eyes on the glass."

Working directly alongside our Security Engineering Lead, you will take ownership of daily platform monitoring, log triage, active threat hunting, and the execution of incident response runbooks. Your primary mission is to ensure our environment is continuously monitored and active threats (such as DDoS attacks or bot traffic) are mitigated in real-time. By owning the manual alarm monitoring and Tier-1/Tier-2 incident triage, you ensure our engineering team remains agile and focused on heavy infrastructure hardening.

Key Responsibilities

  • Continuous Monitoring & Threat Hunting: Act as the primary operator of our SIEM and security monitoring tools. Track, triage, and investigate daily security alerts, anomalous logs, and suspicious network traffic across our Web2 and Web3 ecosystems.
  • First-Line Incident Response (IR): Serve as the first responder during active security events. Execute established Incident Response Playbooks—including updating WAF/firewall rules, mitigating DDoS attacks, and isolating compromised endpoints—before escalating complex, systemic threats to the Lead Security Engineer.
  • Vulnerability & Patch Execution: Conduct routine vulnerability scans and penetration test validations. Test the compatibility of security patches and coordinate closely with the engineering team to apply fixes rapidly without disrupting production agility.
  • Access & Authority Management: Administer day-to-day Identity and Access Management (IAM) requests. Ensure strict, daily adherence to the company's Zero-Trust and least-privilege security policies across all internal tools and cloud environments.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: 2–4+ years of hands-on experience as a SOC Analyst, SecOps Specialist, or Incident Response Responder in a fast-paced technology, FinTech, or eCommerce environment.
  • The Operator Mentality: You are highly vigilant, process-driven, and remain cool under pressure. You enjoy connecting the dots in server logs and take pride in neutralizing active attacks before they impact the business.
  • Technical Stack:
  • Hands-on experience with SIEM platforms (e.g., Datadog, Splunk, ELK stack) and log analysis.
  • Proficiency in managing Web Application Firewalls (e.g., Cloudflare, AWS WAF) and basic network security protocols.
  • Basic scripting skills (Python, Bash) to automate repetitive triage tasks and alerts.
  • Web3 Exposure (Plus): A general understanding of how crypto exchanges, wallets, and blockchain transactions operate is a strong advantage.
  • Languages: Fluency in Vietnamese and solid Professional English proficiency (you must be able to read complex technical logs, write incident reports, and communicate clearly with international teams).

Benefits

  • Compensation: Competitive base salary commensurate with experience and technical proficiency, plus a 13th-month salary and performance bonus.
  • Health & Wellness: Social insurance, 24/7 accident insurance, annual health check-up, and premium private healthcare coverage.
  • Premium Tools: High-end MacBook and all necessary peripherals.
  • Travel Perks: Access to Smart Platinum tier on Travala.com for exclusive discounts and rewards.
  • Work-Life Balance: Hybrid working mode and a dynamic, international company culture.
  • Growth: Dedicated annual budget for courses, certifications, and tech conferences.
  • Community: Free snacks/coffee, team bonding activities, domestic and overseas company trips, and year-end celebrations.
