What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Triage incoming security alerts and requests, ensuring timely communication and resolution
- Conduct first-line investigations using data from various security tools and telemetry
- Execute approved containment and remediation actions for security incidents
- Collaborate with IT, Security Engineering, and MSSP partners to resolve complex incidents
- Draft, maintain, and refine Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and runbooks for incidents
What Is Required (Qualifications)
- 2-4 years of experience in security operations, incident response, or threat detection
- Familiarity with SIEM, EDR, and related security tools (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel, CrowdStrike)
- Understanding of IAM, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), and basic network security principles
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Experience with threat intelligence feeds and vulnerability management
- Knowledge of automation and workflow optimization in security operations
- Ability to build dashboards and KPIs for actionable insights
