Summary
We are seeking a Security Analyst to join our client's cybersecurity team supporting over 10K users across a multi-entity organization. This role is ideal for a well-rounded professional with a strong IT foundation and hands-on security experience focused on threat detection, incident response, and security operations. You will work closely with leadership and a high-performing team to monitor, investigate, and respond to complex security events while helping scale and strengthen the organization’s overall security posture.
Responsibilities
- Monitor, detect, and investigate security threats across the enterprise.
- Lead and support incident response activities including triage, containment, and remediation.
- Analyze logs and events using SIEM tools to identify suspicious activity.
- Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to strengthen security posture.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of security processes and procedures.
- Provide advanced-level analysis and escalation support (Tier-3 expertise).
- Assist in proactive threat hunting and vulnerability identification.
- Supports approximately 10K-11K users with continued growth.
- Cover 20+ operating companies with varying levels of IT integration.
Requirements
- Strong IT background (networking, systems, infrastructure) is required.
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with progression to advanced (Tier-3) responsibilities.
- Hands-on experience with security tools including:
- Splunk (SIEM);
- CrowdStrike or other EDR platforms.
- Experience working in Mac and Linux environments.
- Proven ability to investigate and respond to complex security incidents.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience in multi-entity or enterprise-scale environments.
- Familiarity with threat hunting and advanced detection techniques.
Preferred
- Security certifications (e.g., CISSP, GIAC, Security+).
