About The Position
In this role, you will support daily security and safety operations and contribute to the continuous improvement of safety and security practices across the organisation. You will plan, coordinate, and execute safety and security trainings, drills, and exercises (including fire, evacuation, first aid, and security-related scenarios), as well as maintain and further develop related training content in Oriola’s e-learning platform.
You will also participate in internal and external audits and support audit readiness within the areas of Security and Safety.
Oriola is currently building a new logistics centre in Järvenpää, and this role is established to support the additional resource needs created by the project at the current site, while also contributing to the development and future operations of the new logistics centre. The position reports to the Security Manager Finland and includes extensive collaboration with different functions across the organisation and with external stakeholders.
Primary Responsibilities
- Coordination and implementation of safety, fire safety and site security practices
- Supporting development of physical security measures, including access control, CCTV and intrusion alarm systems according to group Security requirements.
- Participating in risk assessments and supporting implementation of mitigation measures
- Execute and support the planning of safety and security trainings, drills, and exercises (including fire, evacuation, first aid, and security-related scenarios), as well as maintain and support the development of related training content in Oriola’s e-learning platform.
- Supporting compliance with legal requirements, internal policies and Oriola-specific safety and security standards.
- Ensure compliance to internal corporate standards.
- Monitoring completion of mandatory group common trainings and supporting corrective actions
- Handling safety and security observations and coordinating corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
- Participating in internal and external audits and support audit readiness within the area Security, Safety and Fire Safety.
- Relevant education in safety, security or a related field is beneficial
Skills & Requirements
Personal and experience Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years Experience in security and safety .
- Experience in performing trainings, drills and personnel instructions.
- Experience from taking part in risk assessments and business continuity planning.
- Experience in construction, industrial, logistics, or infrastructure projects is considered an advantage, together with knowledge of technical, building-related, and fire protection regulations and standards, and the ability to read and understand technical drawings and documentation.
- Experience in audits or quality-related processes is considered an advantage.
- Good knowledge in Finnish occupational safety and fire safety legislation.
- Understanding of physical security systems and processes (e.g. access control, CCTV, intrusion alarms).
- Knowledge of hazardous goods and flammable goods is considered an advantage.
- Good working proficiency in Finnish and English (written and spoken) is required. Swedish is considered an advantage.
- Previous experience in the health industry is considered an advantage.

Terms Of Employment
- This is a temporary full-time position during September 2026 until end of the 2028
- This position is based primarily in Espoo, Finland and also in Järvenpää

- The selected person will undergo a drug test and a standard security clearance in accordance with the Security Clearance Act, which is a prerequisite for the establishment of an employment relationship.
