- Develop and implement layered Zero Trust Tagging rules for applications and services.
- Review and analyze connectivity requirements for DSS remote sites, cloud-hosted applications, and cloud services.
- Enhance infrastructure security by minimizing lateral movement of threat actors.
- Identify all applications, services, and resources requiring data communication.
- Create and maintain application dependency data and workflow tagging.
- Develop visualizations of workflows using Splunk or similar tools.
- Review and classify agency-wide services and resources supporting applications and enterprise services.
- Develop and enforce least privileged access rules for various communication needs.
- Collaborate in an agile environment with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Engage with clients to ensure alignment of security architecture with business objectives.
- Utilize industry-standard security tools and platforms (e.g., CISCO, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Splunk SIEM, MS Defender, Crowdstrike).
- Apply expertise in micro-segmentation, dynamic access control, and continuous trust monitoring.
- Lead and manage security aspects of the data center colocation and migration project.
