We are seeking a Security Engineer to join a growing business. In this role, you will build the security architecture, leading the migration from MSP to in-house security operations.

Example Responsibilities:

  • Architect & Build: Design and implement global security policies within Microsoft Intune (MDM/MAM) and Entra ID (formerly Azure AD).
  • Identity Governance: Own the full identity lifecycle, including Conditional Access, Privileged Identity Management (PIM), and MFA/Passwordless rollouts.
  • Security Operations: Act as the Level 3 escalation point for all security-related incidents, leveraging Microsoft Defender XDR and Sentinel (SIEM/SOAR).
  • Infrastructure Security: Secure our cloud footprint across Azure and AWS, ensuring robust Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM).
  • Automation: Utilize PowerShell and Graph API to automate device enrollment (Autopilot), compliance remediation, and routine security tasks.
  • Strategy & Compliance: Align technical implementations with global standards (ISO 27001/SOC2) and ensure a seamless handover from our outgoing MSP.

Target Experience:

  • Experience: 5+ years in a Security Engineering or Systems Architecture role.
  • Microsoft Intune (Policy creation, Configuration Profiles, Compliance).
  • Entra ID (Identity Protection, Conditional Access, SSO/SAML).
  • Microsoft Defender suite (Endpoint, Identity, Office 365, Cloud Apps).
  • Certifications (Preferred): Microsoft Cybersecurity Architect Expert (SC-100), Azure Solutions Architect, or MS-500/SC-300.
  • Nice to Have: AWS Identity & Access Management (IAM) and security logging.
