We are looking for a skilled Security Engineer to join a fast-paced, research-driven environment supporting secure engineering operations and cloud infrastructure initiatives.
Security Engineer | Los Altos, CA (Hybrid)
Location: Los Altos, CA
Schedule: Hybrid – 2 days onsite (Tuesday & Wednesday)
Shift: 4×10 Schedule | Fridays Off
Duration: 6-Month Contract with possible extension/full-time conversion
Overtime may be required
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and enhance security solutions across systems and cloud environments
- Support engineering and research teams with secure development practices
- Monitor, assess, and improve security posture and risk management
- Collaborate cross-functionally to strengthen infrastructure and application security
Required Skills:
- Security Scorecard (Must Have)
- Checkmarx (Must Have)
- GitHub Advanced Security
- AWS Security Experience Preferred: IAM, Cloud Security Best Practices, Security Monitoring & Controls.
Qualifications:
- 4–6 years of Security Engineering / Cybersecurity experience
- Strong understanding of system and network security principles
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
