Pay Range: $16/hr – $20/hr
Role Description
We are seeking a Security Guard for a part-time, on-site role located in the Greater Boston area AND Worcester MA. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring event premises, ensuring physical and personnel security, managing access control, responding to incidents, and providing excellent customer service to guests and staff. The Security Guard will also assist in crowd control and emergency response as required, maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for all attendees.
Qualifications
- Experience in Physical Security, Personnel Security, and Private Security protocols
- Strong Interpersonal Skills with the ability to effectively interact with guests, staff, and team members
- Excellent Customer Service skills to ensure a positive guest experience
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond appropriately to emergencies
- Willingness to work varied hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Previous experience in security roles or event environments is a plus
- Current security certifications and/or licensure are highly advantageous
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and handle physically demanding situations
