Role Description This is an on-site contract role for a Security Guard based in Mumbai. The Security Guard will monitor premises and access points, perform regular patrols, and enforce site security procedures to protect people, property, and assets. Daily tasks include checking identification, managing visitor entry, observing CCTV feeds where applicable, and promptly reporting suspicious activity or security breaches. The role involves responding to alarms or incidents, coordinating with supervisors and local authorities when needed, and maintaining accurate incident and activity logs. The Security Guard will also assist visitors and staff with directions or basic information, while maintaining a calm, professional, and customer-focused presence at all times.
Qualifications
- Strong Physical Security, Personnel Security, and Private Security skills, including patrolling, access control, and incident response.
- Excellent Interpersonal Skills and Customer Service abilities to interact respectfully and effectively with visitors, clients, and team members.
- Ability to remain alert, observant, and composed in high-pressure or emergency situations.
- Basic report writing and documentation skills, with the ability to follow security protocols and communicate clearly.
- Good physical fitness and the capacity to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
- Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field preferred; relevant security certifications or licenses are an advantage.
- Willingness to work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required by site operations.
