Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Security Guard located in Elk Park, NC. The Security Guard will be responsible for safeguarding premises, monitoring access points, conducting patrols, and responding promptly to security incidents. Additional duties include maintaining detailed activity logs, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and providing friendly, professional customer service to clients, visitors, and staff. Candidates will be expected to remain vigilant and proactive in protecting assigned locations.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Physical Security, Personnel Security, and Private Security practices
- Excellent Interpersonal Skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients, team members, and the general public
- Proven Customer Service skills with a commitment to maintaining a professional and approachable demeanor
- Ability to stay alert and act decisively in high-pressure or emergency situations
- Experience in security roles or similar fields is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in security or first aid are beneficial
- Must possess or be able to obtain and maintain required security certifications as per state and company guidelines
- Physically fit and capable of extended periods of walking, standing, and other physically demanding activities
