Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Security Guard based in Barrie, ON. The Security Guard will monitor and patrol assigned areas, implement access control systems, enforce safety protocols, and respond to security incidents. Responsibilities include ensuring the physical safety of personnel and property, managing private security equipment, and providing excellent customer service in high-pressure situations to maintain order and safety.
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal skills and a customer service-oriented approach
- Experience with physical and personnel security practices
- Knowledge and experience in private security systems and protocols
- Ability to maintain focus in fast-paced and challenging environments
- Possession of a valid Security Guard license and necessary certifications
- Physical fitness and ability to patrol for extended periods
- High school diploma or equivalent educational background
- Previous experience in security roles is an asset but not mandatory
