Position: Security Guard for Industry Safety
Serve as a crucial Security Guard in safeguarding a mining site. Ensure the safety of personnel and assets while responding to alarms and emergencies effectively.
You will report to the Health, Safety and Security Superintendent and engage in active security management at the mining operation. This role requires a solid background in security, law enforcement, or the military, along with relevant educational credentials. You’ll enforce security measures, conduct personnel inductions, and oversee emergency response initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor and enforce security across the site
• Investigate and address security concerns immediately
• Conduct searches of personnel and property
• Produce detailed security reports as needed
• Perform site checks, including equipment inspections
Requirements:
• At least 1-year experience in security or law enforcement
• Post-secondary education in law and security an asset
• Valid CPR, AED, First Aid certifications required
• Proficient in communication devices
• Physical stamina for various tasks required
Champion safety and compliance by actively monitoring site operations and adhering to all security protocols.
