Position: Security Guard for Retail Loss Prevention
Contribute to safety with Securiguard Services as a Security Guard in Hamilton and Southern Ontario. Use your security expertise to monitor incidents, enforce regulations, and maintain safe environments.
We’re seeking experienced security professionals to protect our diverse sites.
Your role will include monitoring CCTV systems, reporting hazards, and enforcing policies effectively. Previous experience in retail or healthcare environments will be essential to ensure safety and compliance at every location.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor CCTV systems and maintain security control
• Enforce provincial, municipal regulations, and company policies
• Control access to sites and respond to incidents
• Prepare professional security reports for daily activities
• Conduct effective emergency response as required
Requirements:
• 1+ year security experience in retail or healthcare
• Valid Ontario Security License and First Aid certification
• Knowledge of loss prevention strategies is an asset
• Strong conflict resolution and de-escalation skills
• Ability to work at various sites across Southern Ontario
