Security & Investigation Manager
The Security & Investigation Manager is responsible for leading CMB’s security strategy and operations to ensure the safety of employees, customers, assets, and facilities. The role oversees investigations, incident response, business continuity, and risk mitigation initiatives, while ensuring compliance with regulations and internal policies. It requires close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, management of security programs and staff, and the ability to respond to complex and high-risk situations, including emergencies, with a strong focus on operational effectiveness, leadership, and strategic alignment with the Bank’s objectives.
Professional requirements:
- MBO degree in Security Management or equivalent. Supporting accreditations are desirable.
- PSP, APP or CPP ASIS Certification or equivalent
- Minimum eight (8) years of experience in security area with at least five (5) years in a security supervisory position
- Military and/or law enforcement experience is an advantage.
Candidate Profile:
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English, Dutch, and Papiamento, both written and verbal.
- Proven leader in security, investigations, and risk management, with the ability to drive strategy and ensure effective execution across operations
- Strong expertise in incident response, business continuity, and crisis management, including handling complex and high-risk situations
- Demonstrated ability to conduct and oversee investigations, identify threats, and implement proactive risk mitigation measures aligned with business objectives
- Exhibits unwavering integrity, sound judgment, and resilience, with readiness to operate and respond effectively to emergencies
- Digitally proficient, with strong skills in using standard business software tools (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) for communication and reporting
- Familiar with screening and due diligence tools such as World-Check, PEP Caribbean, and online research methods to support investigations and risk assessments
