Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position located in Sheffield for a Security Manager. The Security Manager will be responsible for leading and managing security operations, ensuring the safety of personnel, assets, and property. Day-to-day activities include implementing security protocols, conducting risk assessments, supervising security teams, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to address security concerns. The role also involves staying informed about the latest security threats and strategies, while maintaining compliance with local and national regulations.
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in Physical Security and Security Management
- Knowledge of Information Security, Cybersecurity, and Network Security practices
- Experience in developing and implementing comprehensive security protocols
- Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills
- Ability to conduct thorough risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies
- Understanding of local and national security regulations and compliance standards
- Relevant certifications such as CPP, PSP, or CISSP are a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, or a related field is preferred
