About the Opportunity
Sydney Metro Security Services is currently seeking Expressions of Interest from experienced Security Officers for upcoming opportunities within a Highly Protected Security environment in the ACT.
This role offers attractive rates of pay, 12-hour rostered shifts, and the opportunity to work within a secure and professional environment alongside industry-leading personnel.
Due to the nature of the role, applicants must hold a current NV1 Security Clearance (And or Higher).
Key Responsibilities
The successful applicants will be responsible for:
- Access control and visitor management and Signing in
- Conducting internal and external security patrols
- CCTV monitoring
- Escorting contractors, visitors, and authorized personnel
- Monitoring and reporting security incidents
- Maintaining accurate records and logs
- Responding to alarms and security-related incidents
- Ensuring compliance with site security procedures and protocols
- Providing exceptional customer service and stakeholder engagement
Role Requirements
To be considered for this opportunity, applicants must possess:
- Current ACT Security License
- Australian Citizenship (Required for Clearance)
- Current NV1 Security Clearance
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Professional presentation and conduct
- Ability to work 12-hour rotating day and night shifts
- Ability to pass pre-employment checks
