Tumas Gaming Ltd is looking for a professional and vigilant Security Officer to join our Casino Operations team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the safety and security of our guests, employees, assets, and operations while maintaining the highest standards of customer service and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
As a Security Officer, you will:
- Liaise with Surveillance and all casino departments to ensure a secure operating environment.
- Verify guest eligibility and deny access to underage individuals in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Register guests when required.
- Control and enforce access to restricted and secure areas within the casino.
- Provide escorts on and off the gaming floor when necessary.
- Ensure the safe transfer of drop boxes and monitor the movement of cash and cash-equivalent assets.
- Observe and report suspicious behaviour, activities, or security concerns.
- Assist in maintaining the integrity of casino gaming operations.
- Complete Casino Occurrence Reports relating to security breaches, suspicious activities, and unusual incidents.
- Manage lost and found items in accordance with company procedures.
- Conduct inspections and security checks as required.
- Assist during medical emergencies and other incidents.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will:
- Have a good command of spoken and written English.
- Knowledge of Maltese and/or Italian will be considered an asset.
- Demonstrate professionalism, discipline, and integrity.
- Be a strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Be willing to work night shifts, weekends, and public holidays according to operational requirements.
- Hold a valid driving licence.
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, customer service, or a similar role will be considered an asset.
