Role Description
This on-site role, based in Perth, WA, is for a Security Officer & Crowd Controller position. The role involves ensuring safety and security at various venues or events by monitoring premises, managing access control, and addressing security concerns. Responsibilities include patrolling designated areas, managing crowds, resolving conflicts, and providing excellent customer service while maintaining a safe environment. The role may involve working flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, in both static and dynamic environments.
Qualifications
- Background in security operations, including patrols and incident management
- Proficiency in crowd control, conflict resolution, and de-escalation techniques
- Strong attention to detail, situational awareness, and ability to follow safety protocols
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with clients and the public
- Current Security Officer License and Crowd Controller License (required)
- First Aid and CPR certification
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
- Previous experience in security services is highly regarded
