Job Description / Responsibility
Job Context
The Security Officer oversees and coordinates the security team`s activities, ensuring the safety and security of the organization`s premises, assets, and personnel. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills and a thorough understanding of security protocols and procedures.
Job Responsibilities
- Coordinate the daily operations of the security team, including scheduling, assigning posts, and monitoring performance.
- Develop and implement security procedures, protocols, and emergency response plans.
- Conduct regular security assessments and risk analyses to identify potential vulnerabilities and recommend appropriate countermeasures.
- Monitor security systems, such as CCTV cameras, access control systems, and alarm systems, and respond to incidents as necessary.
- Investigate security breaches, incidents, and complaints, and prepare detailed reports.
- Recruit new security guards as per the requirements.
- Liaise with law enforcement agencies and other external security providers as needed.
- Provide training and guidance to security personnel on security procedures, policies, and best practices.
- Maintain accurate records of security activities, incidents, and training.
- Manage the security budget and resources effectively.
- Foster a positive and collaborative working environment within the security team.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor/Honors
- Skills Required: Leadership, Problem solving and decision making, proactiveness, Communication and interpersonal skill, Organized and Disciplined
Experience Requirements
- 5 to 7 year(s)
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Real Estate,Group of Companies
Additional Requirements
- Retired defence personnel (Army/Navy) will get preference.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team of security personnel.
- Strong knowledge of security principles, practices, and procedures.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations.
- Proficiency in using security systems and technology.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
