Securicare is hiring Security Guards to assist the Vancouver Coastal Health portfolio. This role requires a keen awareness and professionalism while conducting patrols and monitoring access to facilities. The perfect candidate will thrive in a clinical setting and interact respectfully with patients, visitors, and staff while addressing challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
• Control access to ensure authorized entry only
• Patrol premises to deter unauthorized activity
• Respond swiftly to safety concerns and medical emergencies
• Follow emergency procedures, including lockdowns
• Communicate with emergency services as needed
Requirements:
• BC Security Guard License with Advanced Security Training
• At least 1 year security experience in a healthcare environment
• Calm under pressure and strong observation skills
• Must be able to complete incident reports
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends
