Position: Security Officer for Healthcare Security
Join Securicare in Powell River as a dedicated Security Officer focused on healthcare.

In collaboration with Vancouver Coastal Health, you’ll manage access control, conduct patrols, and respond to security incidents. Candidates should possess over a year of security experience, ideally in the healthcare arena, and be capable of effective engagement with patients and staff to uphold security standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor access points and verify credentials for entry
• Patrol the premises proactively to prevent unauthorized access
• Manage security incidents swiftly and efficiently
• Implement emergency procedures to ensure safety
• Liaise with healthcare staff for coordinated security response
Requirements:
• BC Security Guard License and Advanced Security Training
• Over 1 year of security experience, ideally in healthcare
• Strong communication and conflict-resolution abilities
• Detail-oriented in documenting incidents
• Availability for flexible shifts
