Job Description
As a Security Officer Unarmed Driver Patrol in Amarillo, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as logistics & distribution and more. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong customer service and communication. This is a driving poste requiring a valid driver’s license.

Weekly Pay: $15.33 / Hour
Job Schedule: Mon 12:00 AM – 05:00 AM;
Thur 12:00 AM – 05:00 AM;
Sun 12:00 AM – 05:00 AM
What You’ll Do
- Provide customer service by carrying out site‑specific procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, trailer yards, dock doors, parking areas, and perimeter points to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor the movement of visitors, vendors, and/or drivers entering and leaving the location, following post orders and reporting security‑related concerns or policy violations.
- Document daily activities, incidents, and/or irregularities in required logs or reports, and support orderly operations during shift changes, deliveries, and high‑traffic periods.
Minimum Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
