Job summary
Our client is Looking an Accounting Analyst to support general ledger activities and ensure accurate financial reporting across assigned business entities.
This role works closely with the Accounting Team Lead and is responsible for overseeing accounting operations, supporting close processes, and managing financial risks through effective review and analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and approve account reconciliations on a monthly and quarterly basis to ensure accuracy and minimize risk.
- Validate and authorize complex journal entries prepared by accounting team members.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for balance sheet-related queries and issue escalation.
- Manage month-end close activities, including preparation and submission of financial consolidation reports.
- Participate in stakeholder discussions to identify financial risks and drive corrective action plans.
- Evaluate existing accounting processes and recommend system or procedural improvements.
- Perform analytical reviews on key accounts to identify trends, discrepancies, and efficiency opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies and contribute to updates where needed.
- Support internal and external audit requirements by providing necessary documentation and insights.
- Provide guidance and feedback to team members on reconciliations, journal entries, and deliverables.
- Review and validate standard operating procedures (SOPs), ensuring they are accurate and up to date.
- Mentor junior team members and support knowledge development within the accounting function.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance end-to-end financial processes.
- Assist leadership with team coordination and contribute to special projects as required.
- Ensure adherence to defined performance metrics, audit standards, and service level agreements.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in accounting or a related field.

- Strong analytical and reconciliation capabilities.
- Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies effectively.
- Experience working across teams to address financial and operational challenges.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and ERP systems such as Workday.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
